Root Canal Treatment

What is a Root Canal Treatment?

This procedure involves removing the diseased nerve from the tooth and filling the space occupied by the nerve with a synthetic material, with the main purpose of eliminating the infection that causes the pain and to avoid losing the tooth.

Conservative Dentistry encompasses all those treatments aimed at saving and keeping the patient’s natural teeth in their mouth. The most common procedures in this specialty are fillings and endodontics.

Conservative Dentistry aims to save and preserve any diseased or damaged teeth, whether due to decay, wear or trauma, in the patient’s mouth. It includes, therefore, all treatments that try to avoid the extraction of the dental piece and the subsequent placement of an implant.
